The University of Arkansas used the opportunity provided through the USCET Student Leaders Exchange Program to expand opportunities for student participation in a number of existing partnership programs in 2011. University of Arkansas used USCET grant funds to provide $2,000 scholarships to 14 students studying in China in Summer and Fall 2011.

Mount Olive is planning to welcome 30 Chinese students to experience their senior year at the high school, a move that Superintendent Larrie Reynolds said will net the district $600,000 in tuition payments. Reynolds said the district is anticipating approval on the program, which would welcome about 30 high-achieving English-speaking students from China for their senior year of high school during the 2017-18 academic year, within a month or two. The district will select the participants for the program based on applications, academic transcripts, and interviews.

Lausanne Collegiate School will open a new school in China, partnering with an existing school district on an international institution that Memphis students could attend. The collaboration with Xiamen #1 School, located in the Fujian province of China, will feature the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme that is the center of Lausanne's curriculum. Students will graduate with a diploma from both schools.

Mt. Vernon School Corp. recently announced plans to launch a comprehensive international exchange program, in which students from Anshan, China, and Maioli County, Taiwan, will be invited to attend Mt. Vernon Schools. In the future, the district would like to send its own students and teachers to learn abroad. For months, Mt. Vernon administrators have been working with educators in Taiwan and China to establish an international exchange program. Mt. Vernon Schools will be responsible for finding host families for the students it welcomes, and the students will pay tuition to Mt.

The Confucius Institute at Tufts University (CITU), launched on June 24, 2015, provides programs in Chinese language and culture as a collaboration between Tufts and Beijing Normal University (BNU).
Some of the events and programs that the institute holds include conferences and teacher training, workshops and lectures, exchange programs for BNU faculty and student visits and sponsoring scholarships. CITU works with international students and faculty and organizes services for Tufts students on campus.

Springfield College has hit the ground running with new recruiting efforts in China, rallying behind students past and present to set up shop in the heart of two of the country's biggest cities. With a relationship extending more than 30 years, the school wants to grow its pipeline of students coming from China after opening recruiting offices in Beijing and Shanghai.
