Iowa governor led a delegation comprised of government officials and business leaders to China to take part in the second China-US Governor' Forum, and to celebrate the 30 anniversary of the sister relationship between Iowa and Hebei Province. The large volume of export exchange to China on soybean, corn and pork was partciuarly highlighted in this bilateral relationship.

The Freeman Foundation hosted an exchange program that funds US students to China for 9 Oklahoma schools. 7 students got to take part in this program, and they visited Shanghai, Bejijing and Chengdu, and the exchange experience was well-acclaimed by studnets as inspiring and life-changing.
