The First Meeting of the U.S.-China Space Dialogue

The U.S. and China held the inaugural Civil Space Dialogue in Beijing, China in which the two sides exchanged information on respective space policies. The Civil Space Dialogue is a part of the Strategic Track of the U.S.-China Strategic and Economic Dialogue whose mission purpose is the shared goal of advancing civil space cooperation among the two countries.
Outcomes: 
The convening of the first Civil Space Dialogue launched a new initiative to enhance cooperation between the U.S. and China and provides better transparency on space related issues. Both sides agreed to hold a second meeting in Washington, D.C. in 2016.
