U.S. - China Cooperative Arrangement for the Summer Institute in China Program Renewed

The PRC Ministry of Science and Technology and the US National Science Foundation renewed the U.S.-China Cooperative Arrangement for the Summer Institute in China Program to support research by U.S. graduate students in China. The program was first established in 2002.
Outcomes: 
Each year 35 U.S. science graduate students conduct research at universities and laboratories in Beijing, Shanghai, Xian, Kunming, and Wuhan. This is meant to foster the exchange of ideas and to facilitate and strengthen collaboration between U.S. and Chinese scientists and engineers.
