Yuba City officials travel to China in an effort to connect California's agriculture industry to the Chinese market. Yuba City mayor John Buckland believes it is extremely important to lay groundwork for future relations. Although the trip cost the city about $15,000 to send three representatives to China, city officials believe this trip be a "golden opportunity".
