U.S. Foreign Policy Colloquium

The U.S. Foreign Policy Colloquium (FPC) was a three-day program designed to help Chinese graduate students and visiting scholars of all disciplines better understand the complex forces that shape American foreign policy. This year's FPC was held from May 28 to May 30, 2014 at The George Washington University, with cooperation from the Sigur Center for Asian Studies at the Elliot School of International Affairs.
Outcomes:
Each year, 125 to 150 PRC graduate students and visiting scholars from universities throughout the United States – from all academic disciplines – travel to Washington, D.C. to learn from and interact with key players in the American foreign policy arena. Speakers included current and former Administration officials and members of Congress, as well as representatives from academia, the military, think tanks, the media, business, and lobbying groups, among others
