Unified superintendent to visit China as part of exchange program

Kenosha Unified School District Superintendent Michele Hancock traveled to Beijing in October 2013 as part of a cultural exchange program. Hancock visited China with Carthage College teaching instructor Nana LoCicero Oct. 10-18. The two were invited by the HaiDian Education Research Association, a Chinese government organization made up of current and retired principals who work on education and school management research and projects.
Outcomes: 
Beyond visiting schools, looking at educational programs, doing some comparisons, Hancock also met with teachers and administrators to expand partnerships with China,
