UNC is active player in U.S.-China Forum for Exchange

The University of Northern Colorado represented U.S. higher education institutions in Beijing, as it continues to bolster its presence in China. Provost Robbyn Wacker was an invited participant of the People to People Exchange's opening ceremony and plenary session. UNC also served as co-organizer of the international conference on education. The exchange addressed culture, education, science and technology, sports, women's issues and health.
Outcomes: 
The University of Northern Colorado's outreach in Asia has led to strategic partnerships with Capital Normal University and Shandong Normal University, who are sending students to study at UNC. Furthermore, the Beijing Royal School is sponsoring 10 teachers to come to UNC and begin a master's degree program in Multilingual Education with World Languages Licensure Emphasis.
