UC Berkeley Chancellor Awarded Tsinghua University Honorary Doctorate
Dr. Nicholas Dirks, the Chancellor of the University of California Berkeley, was awarded an Honorary Doctorate by Tsinghua University. During Dr. Dirks’ visit, Tsinghua and UC Berkeley held a series of activities to promote further collaboration between the two universities
Outcomes:
The Tsinghua-Berkeley Joint Forum was also held that afternoon, providing a chance for faculty members of the two universities to exchange ideas on innovation and global education topics.
