'Transformers 4' Marks New Era in Chinese, Hollywood Marketing Collaboration

Michael Bay's fourth Transformers installment racked up $134.5 million in its first five days in China, which is higher than the $121 million it had earned in North American theaters by July 1. The film has done bigger box office in China — the world’s second-largest film market — than in North America, due to major advances in China-Hollywood marketing cooperation, says China Movie Media Group (CMMG).
