Study business in Shanghai, China. This program is designed for undergraduate students who are interested in developing an understanding of Chinese business culture and doing a consultation project with a Chinese company. It is appropriate for business majors or minors, as well as undergraduate students majoring in international studies with a business focus or students majoring in Asian studies. The program allows students to take a business course in corporate governance and business ethics, be part of a study tour to Beijing and Xi’an, learn from a group of Chinese faculty members in a seminar on Chinese culture and business and complete a consultation project with a Chinese company.
Outcomes: 
This course is designed to provide students with an academic forum which supports them in making connections between their business coursework in the program, the program’s cultural activities and excursions, the cultural context of their Chinese language survival course and their cross-cultural experience. A study tour, interdisciplinary seminar featuring company visits and consultation project with a Chinese company add an experiential element to the program’s core academic course work.
