Philadelphia Mayor Nutter Visits China to Promote Investment

Philadelphia Mayor Michael A. Nutter visited China to promote opportunities for investment, to promote Philadelphia as an international city, and to strengthen the relationship between key Philadelphia institutions and their Chinese counterparts. Mayor Nutter visited Tianjin, Philadelphia's sister city and a Chinese hub for clean energy technology. Nutter also met with senior executives from Air China to discuss potential opportunities for a direct flight between Philadelphia and China.

Mayor Nutter met with Tianjin Mayor Huang Xingguo, signing a new agreement of cooperation and partnership between Philadelphia and Tianjin.
