Minnesota, Greater MSP Set Up Joint Trade Office in Shanghai

Economic development group Greater MSP and the Minnesota Trade Office announced in Shanghai they will open a joint office in that Chinese city to help Minnesota companies export their products and services to China in 2012. The announcement was made during a 10-day trade mission to China, which is being led by Gov. Mark Dayton and includes about 40 Minnesota business leaders.
Outcomes: 
China is already a key market for Minnesota companies. Last year Minnesota firms exported about $2.3 billion of products and services to China, making China the second-largest export market for the state and the largest for agricultural products.
