Chinese students see and hear 'real America' in Parsippany

Students from Zhuhai City in China visited the Morris View Healthcare Center in Morris Plains through an organization called EduAcross which is sponsored by China's Zhuhai Broadcast Television Network, Zhuhai City, and its schools. The specific program is American Education Exploration, designed for Chinese children who are interested in learning about American culture and education and for those who plan to study in the U.S. in the future.
Outcomes:
At Morris View, the kids gave performances by singing, dancing, and showing Chinese papercut and calligraphy. Su said the students had a good time, but because they could only stay an hour, they did not have a chance to ask their questions. Besides visiting Morris View, some of the students volunteered at the Morris Homeless Solution, cooking a Friday night dinner.
