Break the Barriers in Xiamen for China's 1st National Day for the Disabled

Break the Barriers, Inc., the nation's premier sports-arts center uniting the able and disabled, today announced that it has been invited to be a guest of the Chinese Department of Disabled Services, the Department of Religion and the Department of Education. Break the Barriers participated and performed in China's first National Day for the Disabled to be held on May 20, 2007 in Xiamen, and then at other schools, churches and public venues throughout the province, returning to the U.S. on May 28.
Outcomes: 
In August 2008, as a result of their 2007 trip to Xiamen, Break the Barriers, Inc. hosted a delegation of dignitaries from China. They visited public schools and universities, Chinatown, and other centers that focus on special populations, including the Exceptional Parents Unlimited (EPU) and Fresno Area Down Syndrome Society.
