Aumsville opens arms to Chengdu, China students

Aumsville, Oregon hosted 17 students and their escorts from the provincial capital of Sichuan province in Southwest China. The students, ranging from 9 to 11 years, visited for nine days and participated in a wide array of activities, then delivered a performance at an Aumsville Elementary School assembly on Tuesday, Feb. 10, before departing for home the next day.
Outcomes: 
The purpose of the program was to bring Chinese students to the USA to experience a little taste of American school and home life.
