The delegation learned about the academic development and collaboration efforts with the Korean Schools of Liaoning Vocational College. It also learned about the golf major and discussed on future collaboration, which would be beneficial to the College's golf major.

SAF president John Belcher led the delegation. SAF learned more about ZUEL's efforts in international academic exchanges and its academic development. The two sides talked about future cooperation between SAF and ZUCL.

Provost and executive vice chancellor Ralph J. Hexter led a UC Davis delegation to China to develop low-carbon transportation strategies for China. Hexter delivered a keynote address at the World Business District Network Summit in Beijing and introduced California's low-carbon transportation status. The delegation visited Beijing and then Xi'an.

Andrew Kramer, director of the International Department met with the vice president of Shangqiu Teacher's School as well as representatives from the International Exchange Center at the International Study School. The two sides discussed their collaborative programs and planned to carry out more student and faculty exchange events.
