President Xi Jinping Extends Invitation to Washington High School
After a personal invitation from President Xi Jinping, 100 students from Lincoln High School visited China in September 2016.
Outcomes:
The students traveled to Hong Kong, Beijing, Fuzhou and Chengdu as part of an 11 day trip. President Xi has strong ties with Tacoma, Washington, after having visited their in 1993 to set up a sister-city agreement.
