National Association of Secretaries of State visit to China 2013

In December 2013, the China-United States Exchange Foundation supported the first group of U.S. Secretaries of State to visit China to deepen the delegation’s understanding of China. The program was organized in cooperation with the Chinese People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries (CPAFFC) and the National Association of Secretaries of State (NASS). The delegation visited Beijing, Chengdu, and Shanghai.
Outcomes: 
During the visit, the delegation held meetings with central and local government leaders and officials, and the delegation paid visits to historic sites, high-tech development zones, and an urban planning exhibition center.
