Foreign Teachers Share Impressions

For seven months, the Chinese teachers lived with host families in such places as Pullman, Wash., and performed tasks ranging from teaching language, culture and history classes to advising student-activity clubs and helping monitor the halls.
Outcomes: 
The program is intended to help teachers improve their ability to both speak and teach English and to expose them to the American cultural experience.
