The visits from 2007 are conducted with the assistance of either the Foreign Affairs Committee of the National People's Congress or the Chinese People's Institute for Foreign Affairs. "The most recent Congressional staff delegation took place on April 17-25, 2013, with participants drawn from state and district offices. In addition to Beijing, the group traveled to Shenyang, Fuxin, and Dalian in Liaoning province".
