Alibaba to Open Research Labs in the U.S.

The Alibaba Damo Academy will conduct research in over seven labs across the world, including two in the United States: one in San Mateo and one in Bellevue.
Outcomes: 
These labs will focus on developing next-generation technology for the further growth of Alibaba and its partners. Alibaba will spend over $15 billion on research in the next three years, and is looking for about 100 researchers to join its team.
